To those who have been there for me (you know who you are):
As I continue on into my future and face the fertile void before me--the frightening unknowns and endless possibilities--I feel that it is necessary for me to pause and offer my thanks to you. When I've needed comfort, you've given me your warmth. When I've craved your knowledge, you've shared it with me. When I needed your advice (even if I didn't know it at the time) you have bestowed it upon me. When I've wandered astray, you called me back, and when I returned it was into your open arms. You've witnessed me at my most shining moments and darkest depths.
Were it not for your support, guidance, and love, I would not be the person I am becoming, and my gratitude is more sincere than words can express. Whether you've been in my life since it began or I've only known you for a few short years, you are my heart and my courage. Wherever I go on my lifelong quest for wisdom, and wherever I end up, know that every day I am radiating my love for you. Never forget that, and never lose touch.
